Route No.1 Mt. Shiude, Chichibugahama Beach & Torii Gate on the hill

ルート No.1 紫雲出山・父母ヶ浜・天空の鳥居

These 3 sites are famous tourist spots in Kagawa Prefecture.
The cherry blossoms at Mt. Shiude are magnificent and reflect the Seto Inland Sea. At Chichibugahama　Beach,depending on the time of day, we can see our reflections in the sea, which is linked to Salar de Uyuni,
Bolivia. And if we climb up to the Torii Gate in the sky,　we can enjoy the view of the rice fields plains and the Seto Inland Sea beyond.

これらは、香川県で有名な観光スポットです。紫雲出山の桜は見事で、瀬戸内海に映えています。父母ヶ浜では、時間帯によって、自分の姿が海に映るのでボリビアのウユニ塩湖に例えられます。そして、天空の鳥居まで登っていくと、田んぼの平野とその向こうの瀬戸内海が楽しめます。

Route No.2 Petit pilgrimage walking from No.84 Yashimaji Temple to No.85 Yakuriji Temple

ルート No.2 84番札所屋島寺から85番札所八栗寺までプチ歩き遍路

We can enjoy a petit Shikoku Pilgrimage walking (full Shikoku pilgrimage walking is 1200 kilos’round walking, needing 50 days).
No.84 Yashimaji temple is on a top of Mt.Yashima, needing walking 40 minutes up there. At the top of Mt.Yashima we can enjoy a beautiful scenery of Seto InlandSea. We go down to the foot by bus and walk to No.85 Yakuriji Temple. On the way to No.85,we can visit ancient ruins and old houses and enjoy Udon-noodle!!

84番札所屋島寺から85番札所八栗寺までのプチ遍路歩きを楽しみます(四国遍路は1200キロ、歩くと50日程度かかります)。屋島頂上の屋島寺まで約40分の登り、頂上からの瀬戸内海の景色は見事です。 バスでふもとまで降りた後、四国村や源平合戦遺跡を訪ね、うどんを食べて、85番八栗寺に向かいます。

Route No.3 Mineyama hiking & Ogijima Island sacred place tour by boat

ルート No.3　峰山探検ハイキング&男木島聖地巡り

Mineyama is a small hill in the center of Takamatsu City, and a place of relaxation for the locals. We start hiking from the Iwaseo-hachimangu Shrine. On the way there are also 200 ancient tombs(built between 4th and 7th centuries). On the way back, we can enjoy the Mineyama Honey Café.
Ogijima is a small island located 40 minutes from Takamatsu Port. Recently it has been famous as an art island, and a sacred place. Summer Pockets Festival is also held here.

峰山は高松市の中心部にある山で、市民の憩いの場となっています。岩瀬尾八幡宮から登り始めます。途中には、200基もの古墳(4世紀から7世紀につくられた)があります。帰り道には、峰山ハチミツカフェも楽しめます。

男木島は高松港から40分のところにある小さな島です。最近はアートの島、かつ、聖地巡りで有名です。サマポケ祭りも開催されています。

Route No.4 Petit pilgrimage walking to No.88 Okuboji Temple(finale)

ルート No.4 長尾寺(道の駅ながお)から大窪寺(結願)へのプチ歩き遍路

This is a petit pilgrimage walking from No.87 Nagaoji Temple to No.88 Okuboji Temple(final pilgrimage temple).It is a gentle climb of 11 km(3 hours).Along the way,there are the O-henro Communication Salon and the Astronomical Telescope Museum. As Okuboji Temple is the finale, we will donate our walking sticks we used on the journey. After worshipping,we can eat famous “Uchikomi Udon”and then go back by bus.

87番長尾寺(道の駅ながお)から88番大窪寺(結願)へのプチ歩き遍路です。11キロ・3時間の緩い登り坂です。途中、おへんろ交流サロンや天体望遠鏡博物館があります。
大窪寺は結願なので、長い道中で使った杖を奉納します。参拝をした後は、有名な「打ち込みうどん」を食して、バスで帰ります。

Route No.5 Konpira Shrine & Manno Park (+Udon School)

ルート No.5 こんぴら神社+まんのう公園(+うどん学校)

Konpira Shrine is a shrine dedicated to the god of the sea.The main deity is located at the top of 785 stone steps. It is not so hard to climb and the view from there is amazing!! There are many shops on the approach, and if you wish,you can enter and graduate Udon-School (50 minutes!!). Nearby is Manno Park which is adjacent to Japan’s largest pond. We can enjoy seasonal flowers and a stroll.

こんぴら神社は海の神様を祭ってある神社です。785段の石段を登ったところにご本尊があります。意外と楽です。そして、そこから眺める景色がすばらしい。参道には多
くの店があり、希望があれば、うどん学校でうどん作りも可能です(50分で卒業)。
近くには、日本一広いため池に隣接するまんのう公園があります。季節の花々と散策
を楽しむことができます。
